Lush Blog party - Mother's Day

As you probably know if you read this blog, Lush is one of my favorite brand, and this year also I had the chances to be invited to the presentation of their new collection: Mother's Day.

Mother's Day collection is usually full of flower, and so was the Lush boutique:

While discovering all  the wonderful products and having fun with the amazing Lush staff team, we also had a small DIY project: create a plant hanging support. I love DIY project, and I was pretty happy of my result.

Viaggio in Giappone - atto 1 - Hanami

Amo viaggiare.

Oggi vorrei parlarvi dell'Hanami. O meglio, mostrarvelo.

I love traveling. I just think it's the best way to spend your money, for various reasons. Getting in touch with different cultures opens your mind. Visiting places that are different from home makes you realize how small we are and how many wonders there are, out there from the window, just waiting  to be admired. There is so much to see and so little time to do it.
For years, my husband and I dreamed of our trip to Japan. And this spring that dream finally turned into reality. It was a unique and wonderful experience, and for that I would like to create a series of themed posts to share the wonder of our wonderful trip to Japan.

Today I would like to speak to you about the Hanami. Or rather, show it.
The Hanami, literally "watching the flowers" is a special moment for the Japanese, who  gather in the parks in the spring to enjoy the bloom of sakura, the wonderful cherry trees loaded with thousands of flowers between late March and early April pink. Parks are filled with groups of people having picnics with their families, with friends, colleagues, whose common denominator is one: the sakura. And joy in welcoming the arrival of spring.

L'Hanami é magia.

Hanami is magic.

Xmas' in the air! And in the water, in the shower, in the bathtub...

Hey girls, how are you?
After months struggling between job interviews stealing all my time and a broken computer here I am, with a fabulous brand new job and an amazing new laptop. And incredibly happy to be able to write on this small island of mine.

I don't know if you noticed, but it's again this time of the year: probably the lights all around, the trees and the decorations, but here we are again... Christmas is almost here! In Luxembourg where I live it has been very cold lately, and I love to come back home and leave all my thoughts behind while I take a bath in my bathtub, especially if with some candles, music and/or an episode of my favorite TV series.

Thanks to the amazing Lush team I had the chance of try some product from the new Christmas collection, and at the cost of repeating myself, they've really outdone themselves.

First, let me introduce to the star of this collection: the Santasaurus. Me and my friend Claire completely fall in love with this cutie!
